AusAID's financial contribution (since the beginning of the project in 2002) has been used to fund 8 positions, of which 2 positions are on the Critical list. Of the 8, 7 have been recruited to date. The financial contribution of the European Commission has, since the beginning of the project in 2002, been used to fund a total of 24 positions, 23 advisors and the Project Manager. Of these original 23, 21 are on the Critical list; but two of those positions, both with the Ministry of Health, were subsequently cancelled, leaving a total of 21 positions, 19 of which are on the Critical list.

All of the remaining 21 positions have been recruited. Of these, 3 are finished, 17 positions are currently on-going, and 1 position is in recruitment and scheduled to begin within the next quarter. The positions funded by the EC are summarised, by cost-sharing agreement, below.

The United Kingdom

Total Expenditures: $ 63,000

The United Kingdom provided the project with 'bridge' funds to support two advisory positions with the Commission for Reception, Truth and Reconciliation.  These positions have now been transferred to another donor. In February 2005, the UK donated an additional $72,000 to the Support to Development Posts Project, bringing the total contribution to $135,000. These funds have yet to be disbursed.
